Alyssa Gonzalez earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the Incarnate Word and has over eight years of experience as a pediatric registered nurse. Throughout her nursing career, she has cared for children in a variety of settings, including general pediatrics, pediatric surgery, and pediatric hematology/oncology at both Methodist Children’s Hospital and CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital in San Antonio.
Alyssa also gained valuable experience as a pediatric travel nurse, providing care in Seattle, Washington, and Denver, Colorado. She later returned to school to pursue her passion for advanced practice nursing and became a Family Nurse Practitioner earning her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centered care and is passionate about supporting children’s growth, development, and overall well-being.
Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband and their three dogs. She is an avid sports fan and proudly supports the Spurs, Astros, and Cowboys. She also loves traveling- especially to destinations with beautiful mountain views!
